Shropshire Museum’s ornithological collections
Shropshire Museum’s collections, which began in the early 19th century, hold approximately 1,000 taxidermy specimens and approximately 10,000 bird’s eggs. The Museum Service is currently digitising these collections and will be making them accessible online.
To find out what the collections hold please visit website and use the advanced search to find the collections we have so far digitised.
When digitisation is complete the material will be added to the ‘Historical’ website’s Species Index.
