1918 Forrest & Pitt between them report first several Bitterns (one “on the Montgomery border with Shropshire” [does that make it IN Shropshire?] and a pied Redwing near Bridgnorth.
These two are, to date (6 June 2016), the only known Shropshire items from the Naturalist of 1851+
