A Letter to the Editor from GH Paddock relating his receipt of the head of a Red-billed Chough. Paddock describes the specimen on page 22 of his Catalogue of the birds met with in the district of Church Stretton (1904) adding the date of 25 September 1901 and the locality as the Ragleth.

The year of this letter is presumed to be 1901 though where the letter was published is at this stage (2.3.13) unknown. With grateful acknowledgements to Tom Wall for making this letter known to us.
