This intriguing record, located by Tom Wall (to whom our thanks), indicates that the duck decoy at Oakley, near Bromfield, was still active in 1950. Two decoys, on the Perry in the north and at Sundorne east of Shrewsbury, had by then apparently long since ceased operations. There may have been others (20160229).
