Andrew Pattison of Shrewsbury researches the history of people who have Shrewsbury roads bearing their name, in this case Rocke Street. In this short article Andrew relates the story of the Rocke family. John Rocke contributes several items from the nineteenth century from Clungunford House where he amassed what was, in the 1860s, widely regarded as the finest collection of British birds (stuffed of course) in the country.
